Normal Daytime Routine with 2 Young Children

Good Morning or Good Afternoon or Good Evening,
this post should take three minutes to five minutes to read from start to finish.

Each day is a different day. Leah has been getting demand feedings since she was a week and a half old. Before Leah gets fed; I always changed her diaper (sometimes she has dirty diapers, sometimes she has wet diapers, and sometimes she has both wet and dirty diapers).

After I change Leah’s diaper, I was able to feed Leah for about 15 minutes to 45 minutes whether it is by breastfeeding her or giving her a bottle that I have pumped some breast milk. After Leah gets done with breastfeeding, sometimes I pump some breast milk. I pump between 2oz/60ml to 5oz/150ml.

I always offer Leah 1oz/30ml of breast milk at a time. If Leah shows interest of she is wanting it, I will give it to her. If she shows no interest of consuming the pumped breastmilk, I place the pumped breastmilk in the breast milk storage bag and store them in the fridge.

By the third day, I move the pumped breast milk that was from the fridge to the freezer. Leah does so well with tolerating most of her feedings so well, although she has given me two major spit ups and several tiny spit ups so far which is a good thing.

During some feedings; Leah has been awake and alert. During some feedings; Leah would fall asleep quickly but somehow she would still eat. In between Leah’s feedings; she sleeps so well (as long as she does not get any interrupted sleep).

If you can not see the Image for this post; it says "A child reminds us that playtime is an essential part of our daily routine.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Sometimes while Leah is sleeping, Evelyn and I are sleeping. Sometimes while Leah is sleeping, Evelyn and I are eating our meals and snacks throughout the daytime.

Sometimes while Leah is sleeping, Evelyn still gets her potty training done. Sometimes while Leah is sleeping, Evelyn and I will be playing some time together.

Sometimes while Leah is sleeping, Evelyn would do her best ability to help me with doing laundry by hanging out the clothes to dry on the clothes rack, taking the dry clothes from the drying rack and placed them into my bedroom. Those clothes would be ready to be folded. If I have some energy, I would fold those clothes and pack them away.

Sometimes while Leah is sleeping; Evelyn would do her best ability to help me with loading and unloading the dishwasher. Evelyn likes to press the start button on the dishwasher. She knows how to turn off the dishwasher while the load is running.

Stay Tuned until next time.
